| Russian Elites Not Pleased with Putin | | View on Our YouTube Channel |  Moscow, Russia Jul. 20, 2026 - The bad news: Putin has recently taken advantage of Ukraine's low stockpile of Patriot missiles to pound the cities as more and more Russian missiles get through. This is due in large part to Trump's admiration of Putin since he first ran for president in 2016 as well as Putin's interference in the 2016 election promoting misinformation about Hillary Clinton on American social media and using Russian proxies, according to recently released intelligence documents.
A little history: The Obama administration supplied aid to Ukraine in their fighting along the Donbas and Crimea to help their effort to regain territory taken by the Russians and prevent further aggression from Russia and its supporters in Ukraine. When Trump became president, he held that aid, passed by Congress, for ransom to President Zelenskyy asking him to fabricate evidence that Joe Biden's son was guilty of corruption in Ukraine. This resulted in Trump being forced to release the funds and his eventual impeachment for that act.
He continued to support Putin over Zelenskyy, at one point insulting the Ukrainian leader in the White House. Without Republican support for Ukraine, Trump would never have supported them in their fight against the aggressor Russia. As I have stated, They are now running out of Patriot defensive capability once again.
The good news: Although Putin is trying to take advantage of this lower defensive posture in Ukraine by slamming their cities with ballistic missiles, it has not lessoned the long-range attacks on Russia by Ukrainian drones hitting strategic targets in Russia hundreds of miles away. This is taking a heavy toll on the economy of Russia. Were the war to end today, the damage Ukraine has wrought on oil refineries, the military, the defense industry and manufacturing in Russia would take years if not decades to rebuild. If it does not end soon, they simply will not have the money to rebuild any longer. Reports indicate that the political and business elite in Russia are beginning to turn on Putin. Ukraine's ability to strike deep into Russia and its capital as well as recent gains by Ukraine from their own territory and earlier even within Russia has caused many to believe that victory is now impossible. If there was ever a time to pray for peace, this is the time. If there was ever an indication that our Lord has heard our prayers, the fact the behemoth that was Russia failing against its smaller neighbor does indeed suggest Divine intervention.
